A Morning at The Fainting Goat Coffee
I recently had the opportunity to spend a morning at The Fainting Goat Coffee, a local coffee shop in Spring Hill, Tennessee.
The coffee shop's name is unforgettable – The Fainting Goat Coffee Co.
I had driven by it several times; however, I was always in a hurry for the next photo shoot and never got the chance to visit. On this visit, I had the honor of doing photos of The Fainting Goat Coffee Co. Moreover, I also had some free time to hang out and enjoy the coffee and pastries.
The very first thing I noticed in the coffee shop is the friendly attitude of everyone there. I didn't find any big-city manner from anyone in the shop.
I've been in coffee shops all over America, from Seattle to New York City. Sometimes, you walk into the environment, and you know things are right.
In Seattle, I love Storyville Coffee at Pike Place Market, Seattle, WA. In New York, I always go to Martha's Country Bakery at 263 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NY, 11211.
At The Fainting Goat, I was greeted with a cheerful "Good morning!" by Caleb Holtz and Zack Perko, the employees at the shop. I noticed that they were quite enthusiastic and had everything ready to go for the day. They took care of every customer with great care and patience.
I know it's probably hard to help the customers all day long that are caffeine deficient. However, the employees attended to every customer with a helpful attitude in their personality. They made sure that each customer had an exceptional experience.
Spotlight: The Fainting Goat Coffee
The cafe is all about an outstanding coffee, a smooth cup of tea, and a superb assortment of pastries and food items.
It is also a place where people gather and rebuild old bonds, study and work, and families and couples spend time together to get away from the daily grind.
Additionally, it is a place where creative minds get inspired by century-old walls and unique decor.
Some Surprising Things About The Fainting Goat Coffee
1. Ordering Ahead
They have set up an online app for customers to order everything you need ahead of time. I was surprised by this feature. Most locally-owned coffee shops do not have this type of high-tech capability. All you need to do is drop by and pick it up. You could also choose to stay there at the coffee shop and enjoy your order.
2. Gift Cards and Loyalty
They have also invested time and effort in creating a gift card program and a loyalty program. Both programs are designed perfectly, and they are easy to use.
3. Meeting Space
The Fainting Goat Coffee Co. provides three areas for meeting spaces as well as special events. Some companies have hosted work parties by renting the coffee shop. The three rooms available at the shop are the Work Room, the Extended Room, and the Spring Hill Room. Thus, if you're looking for space for your next meeting or event, be sure to check out the three rooms.

Coffee Flavors
Coffee - it's the foundation of everything. I had a large dark roast. No sugar, no cream, just coffee! It was perfect, and I have never had such a mesmerizing experience having a darker roast at other coffee shops.
The roasting process and the mixture of beans at The Fainting Goat Coffee Co. help them bring out the seriously dark color. The caffeine content is high in the coffee here. Most important of all, the beans aren't bitter, despite being so dark.
Those who love a good, strong coffee will fall in love with the darker roast from start to finish at the cafe. This quality product was pleasingly intense, bracing, and pungent—agreeably.
My thoughts on the coffee: very smooth. You get the slight bitterness you associate with coffee and a soft sweetness. I can imagine myself going here more often. The coffee and pastries are just perfect, and there's plenty of space to get things done when needing to work or hang out with co-workers and friends.
Let's Talk About Pastries
If you're in hunt of a sweet treat, then you're in the right place.
It's no secret that they use an outside vendor to create their unique brand of pastries.
The Windmill Bakery in Columbia, TN, supplies fresh pastries daily to the coffee shop.
